The annual shorts selection, curated by VANESSA STRIZZI, takes the pulse
of Italy’s far-flung film-making community. Some already have reputations
and experience such as ace animator Bruno Bozzetto while
others are just making their mark. The themes are wide-ranging and original
– from teenage dreamers to a wartime tale. Whatever else the seven titles
capture Italy from tip to toe, all in 89 minutes (advisory certificate for
the programme 12A).
