A fascinating retrospective of attrici italiane (the leading ladies of Italian cinema), covering more than four decades and a range of styles, will unspool from 27 September to 29 November 2007 as part of an extended edition of this year’s Italian Film Festival UK.

 Friday 16 November: Launch of the Festival at Riverside

 Saturday 17 November: Screening of L'Orchestra di Piazza di Vittorio in London's Riverside in the presence of director Agostino Ferrente, conductor Mario Tronco and co-conductor Piccioni.

 Sunday 18 November: Festival Launch in Edinburgh's Centotre.

Tuesday 20 November: Screening of The Lark Farm with Paolo Taviani at London's Riverside
