LAUNCH
OF THE 14TH ITALIAN FESTIVAL AT
EDINBURGH'S CENTOTRE
Festive revellers: Italian Consul General
Dr Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini and Dr
Luigino Zecchin, director of the Italian
Institute in Edinburgh were among the guests
who attended the Italian Film Festival
UIK's Edinburgh launch at Centotre in George
Street. Others in the madding throng
included many members of the consular corps,
the arts scene, Scottish producer Eddie
Dick,Shirley Pattison, of Promark PR &
Marketing Ltd for Aprilia, IFF directors
Richard Mowe and Allan Hunter, programmer
Luisa Matera, guest liaison officer Avril
Kunzel, and sponsorship raiser Alice Wood.
Hunter paid tribute to Carina and Victor
Contini, from sponsors Centotre.
The party was followed by a packed screening
of Paolo Virzi's Napoleon and Me
at Edinburgh Filmhouse.
